>Training shift 2nd 2:45pm to 11:15pm for 2-3 months then full-time 2nd or 3rd shift employment.

Set-up offset printing press, responsible for running various equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping quality products to customers. Including, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, reading and understanding work orders, handling ink, cleaning machine after completion of an order, mechanical change over, basic setup, operating a manual pallet jack, following standard operating procedures and processes to ensure quality while working in a team environment to achieve daily goals.

>Pay Starting Range for training and after training can increase depends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Additional duties may also be included as directed by your lead-person or manager).

• Experience in "DRY OFFSET PRINTING” preferred but will train the right candidate.

• Set-up offset printing press and responsible for running various equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and shipping a quality product to the customer. Including, but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, reading and understanding work orders, handling ink, cleaning machine after completion of an order, mechanical change overs, basic setup, and operating a manual pallet jack. Fill out and turn in all appropriate paperwork pertaining to product inspections and sampling as required by SQF modules 2.2, 2.4.8, 2.5.6

• Determine and understand all order instructions and running of offset printing press, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations. Continual loading of product to be printed onto a conveyor.

• Responsible for following standard operating procedures and processes to ensure quality of the orders produced, while working in a team environment to achieve daily goals.

• Determine and understand all order instructions and running of offset printing press, meeting job requirements of ink density, ink balance, color matching, and required attributes at a quality level that meets or exceeds our customer’s expectations.

• Reporting mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner demonstrates the ability to adjust the equipment including, but not limited to blanket changes, pretreatment, and roller settings as required.

• Monitoring the machines to ensure continual, efficient production during all modes of operation. Waste of production items must be minimized.

• Before running out of material at offset printing press, you must notify your lead-person, floor-person, or supervisor (30-minutes in advance of running out and shutting down).

• Be able to lift 30 lbs. repeatedly.

• Perform all work using safety equipment as instructed while obeying all safety rules and procedures.

• Complete all paperwork accurately as instructed by your manager and lead-person.

• Always maintaining your work area in a clean and organized fashion.

• Report any inefficient or unsafe conditions to management upon discovery of the conditions.

• Must be able to work overtime as scheduled by management.

• Occasionally assist other classifications in areas of the plant and warehouse as needed.
