Responsibilities:
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and completed on time.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Prepare and post journal entries in adherence to accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accounts align with banking records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for quarterly filings and audits.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Provide support for special projects and financial analyses as needed.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting principles in all financial activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate roles.
• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting regulations and principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
