LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Trusts & Estates Associate for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a confidential client. This position offers the chance to work with a respected legal team handling estate planning, probate, and wealth management matters for individuals and families.
The ideal candidate will have experience drafting estate planning documents, advising clients on trust structures, and managing probate and estate administration. This role is well-suited for an attorney who values precision, discretion, and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Advise clients on estate and gift tax strategies, trust structures, and asset protection
Manage probate and trust administration processes, including filings, notices, and distributions
Prepare fiduciary accountings and coordinate with financial advisors and tax professionals
Conduct legal research and stay current on changes in estate and tax law
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with firm policies and client expectations
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters in a remote or hybrid setting
Preferred Experience:
Experience with high-net-worth estate planning and complex trust structures
Familiarity with estate tax filings and fiduciary accounting
Background in elder law or charitable planning is a plus
Pay Details: $57.00 to $77.00 per hour
