In this key role you will help drive regional operations strategy and commercial competitive advantage. You will deliver breakthrough service and savings by bringing these Planning and Logistics together. This individual will lead a team of direct reports while also influencing across the organization to drive meaningful global improvement aligned with Planning, Logistics, Commercial, and Financial objectives. The manager will facilitate ECOLAB as a place for strong talent engagement by driving positive culture and predictable product supply.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills along with exposure to Latin America regional operations including Planning and International Logistics inclusive of customs and trade. This role requires a flexible approach and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with passion for process and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
Manage Inventory Planning, Transportation Planning, Trade Operations, and Control Tower
Implement clear workflow and expectations for direct reports with structured goals
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement outcomes
Develop and track actionable outcomes with assigned owners and deadlines
Motivate direct reports to achieve goals in a positive work environment
Receive full support from executive leaders across relevant functional areas
Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Required Skills / Experience:
Cross Border Logistics, Customs, and Trade Exposure
Ensure supplier process rigor for successful customs clearance including shipping and license document completeness and accuracy through centralized provided technology
Transportation Planning Exposure
General understanding of flow of goods across borders and ability to lead specialist team to execute shipments
Demand & Supply Planning Exposure
Experience collaborating with demand or supply planning teams to align transport and inventory needs with forecasted demand
Understanding of how demand variability impacts logistics flows (e.g., seasonality, promotional surges, end of month
Ability to translate forecast changes into proactive logistics capacity adjustments (e.g., carrier allocation, customs clearance resources, or buffer inventory placement)
Inventory & Replenishment Planning
Understanding of safety stock positioning between regions (e.g., US distribution hubs vs. LATAM regional warehouses)
Experience working with planners to balance working capital and service levels through logistics levers (e.g., consolidation points, direct shipments)
Exposure to slow-moving or perishable goods planning would be a plus, if relevant to your product category
Scenario & Contingency Planning
Demonstrated ability to run “what-if” scenarios across the end-to-end chain, for instance, if a port closes, demand spikes, or trade regulations shift
Experience building business continuity plans and managing risk across cross-border flows (weather events, customs delays, political disruptions)

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of professional experience in business, or related field
2+ years of leadership including ability to build and lead effective teams, direct work, and drive results
Strong computer skills using products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web applications
Strong presentation skills
