An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement & Store Co-Ordinator to join a leading Original Equipment Manufacturer based in George. This role is perfect for a hands-on, detail-driven individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for keeping operations running efficiently.
Requirements
5–10 years of proven experience in procurement, inventory, or store coordination
Strong knowledge of procurement systems and software (Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
Experience in the mining or manufacturing industry is essential
Excellent supplier sourcing, negotiation, and cost management skills
Highly organized with exceptional time management and communication abilities
Medically fit and able to work under pressure
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for personal use
Must reside in George, Western Cape
Minimum of 3 recent, contactable references
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
Prepare and process quotes, purchase orders, and part orders
Maintain accurate procurement and inventory documentation
Manage store inventory and ensure organized stock control
Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods and materials
Issue materials and update inventory records as needed
Perform general admin tasks, including filing and scanning
