About the Role

We're searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst who can see patterns where others see complexity. You'll turn raw construction data into meaningful insights that inform decisions across operations, project management, and leadership.

Using tools like Power BI and SQL, you'll design and maintain dashboards that make performance metrics clear, accessible, and actionable. This is a hands-on role where analytical precision meets creative problem-solving.

What You'll Do

Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards (or similar BI tools) to visualize key construction KPIs, including cost performance, scheduling, productivity, safety, and resource utilization.

Write and refine SQL queries and DAX expressions to support advanced calculations, measures, and KPIs.

Collaborate with project teams and operational leaders to define reporting needs and craft intuitive visual solutions.

Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability across all dashboards and reports.

Provide ad hoc analysis and empower non-technical users to understand and apply insights effectively.

Partner with data engineers to improve data models, pipelines, and overall data infrastructure.

(Bonus) Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms to integrate data and streamline visual workflows.

What You Bring

Required:

2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (M).

Solid command of SQL and relational data modeling principles.

Proven ability to translate business goals into technical reporting solutions ideally in construction or project-based environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred:

Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing.

Familiarity with data modeling best practices, data governance, or performance optimization.

Exposure to data pipeline or analytics architecture development.
