ABOUT THE POSITION

Plaskolite is looking for an experienced IT Applications System Administrator to support and manage the JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne ERP, CRM systems and related interface systems. This role is responsible for the application servers, systems administration, and support of JDE technical functions. The position requires 5+ years of industry experience and a strong background in JDE administration with 3+ years of hands-on experience.

JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE:

Responsible for the ERP administration, production-related IT applications, and related interfaces system (Data collection/RF scanning, Labeling, EDI).

Administer and maintain JDE ERP environments, including deployment, database, enterprise, web servers, and fat clients.

Perform package builds, deployments, ESU/ASU installations, and environment refreshes.

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot JDE application security (roles, permissions, and user access).

Administer and support WebLogic, Windows, and Linux servers supporting the JDE ecosystem.

Collaborate with database administrators on Oracle and SQL Server platforms to ensure database performance and availability.

Ensure operational continuity with focus on availability and performance

Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for JDE and related systems.

Ensure system security, compliance, and audit readiness (e.g., Audit, internal IT Security policies).

Work closely with Applications, Infrastructure, and System Administration teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver enhancements.

Support IT service management processes, including incident, problem, and change management.

Document system architecture, procedures, configurations, and changes.

Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation for critical systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent technical training/certification with 5+ years of industry experience.

Proven expertise in ERP applications administration Preferably in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration (3+ years).

Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating system administration.

Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration.

Solid knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL Server platforms.

Experience in backup/recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high availability solutions.

Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards security tools, roles, and compliance practices.

Experience with ESU management, software updates, and tools releases.

Experience with Global Multi Country JDE rollouts is a plus.

Experience in managing label design, RF Scanning, EDI systems is plus.

Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and project management tool is a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal, Project management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, application, infrastructure, and administrative teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
