Your Team Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Analyst to join the Private Capital Solutions (PCS) Client Service Team under our Client Coverage organization in Manila.
The MSCI Global Client Service team, composed of experienced financial professionals, provides first-tier support for institutional clients worldwide. Team members handle a variety of methodology, usage, interpretational, and technical questions on our products and services, primarily via telephone and email, with occasional travel for on-site presentations or trainings. The role involves working with MSCI PCS products assisting clients to streamline the investment process and enable data-driven decisions for private capital investments. Team members work closely with sales executives and relationship managers to maintain and develop client relationships.
Currently, the PCS Client Service teams are present in the following locations: Stellenbosch, Sofia, Abu Dhabi, Monterrey and New York.
Your Key Responsibilities
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Gain a thorough understanding of the MSCI products suite and how its products fit into the organization and its processes
Provide support for the MSCI products at basic level with focus on PCS products, addressing product related inquiries via email, phone call, video conferencing and ensure all client interactions are documented in CRM software
Learn and understand the various market and financial concepts used in MSCI products with focus on Private Capital
Assist the team with day-to-day query allocation and satisfactory resolution of operational, data and intermediate usage client queries
Coordinate with internal departments when needed to provide client solutions.
Ensures that complex queries are routed to the appropriate global teams within specified SLA whilst keeping clients updated on the status of the query in a timely fashion
Serve as an advocate for MSCI to the client as well as an advocate for the client within MSCI.
Increase knowledge of MSCI PCS products allowing analyst to have meaningful client conversations and assist client in portfolio requirements.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
A self-starter who is highly motivated, and has the ability to work individually and within a team
Strong interest in Private Capital including current trends, key market players and investment strategies
Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills having the ability to handle multiple projects under tight and short-term deadlines, and keen attention to details
Ability to comprehend, simplify and communicate complex concepts or methodologies verbally and in writing via the English language to clients and internal stakeholders
Ability to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team, and knowing when to involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of function, geography, and business line
Adept in the use of Microsoft Office and tools
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of finance, accounting, or investment experience
1-3 years of experience working on portfolio analysis and/or performance measurement (plus)
1-3 years of training, consulting, or client presentation experience (plus)
no working experience but preferably with masters degree in the courses mentioned below
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Has undergraduate Degrees in finance, economics, international relations or equivalent
Either completed or studying a Finance related professional qualification e.g. CFA, FRM is highly desired.
