We’re looking for a passionate and committed Tenancy Support Co-ordinator with a particular interest in working with people who are at risk of becoming homeless and require support to maintain or start new tenancies.

Where Although based in Maidstone—the role will be hybrid and involve travel across council boroughs and community locations.

Full Time Hours 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range £27,861.26 - £32,002.35*

Contract Fixed term contract until 31st March 2026

This role is currently funded until 31st March 2026. However, in line with the current UK Drug Strategy which recognises housing as a critical component of an individual’s recovery we anticipate the role will be extended beyond this date.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the role

Establish effective communication and referral pathways for those individuals who are at risk of homelessness and in contact with other health and care agencies

Provide wrap around support in emergency/temporary/supported accommodations

Prioritise caseload depending on crisis intervention and severity of needs

Attend relevant multi-disciplinary team meetings supporting links to health and social care services, peer support networks, community assets and mutual aid

Work closely with the local authority, Health & Social care sector, partners and any provision linked to preventing Homelessness and improve joint working

Increase and enhance partnership working with primary care, mental health services, housing and other voluntary organisations who are supporting individuals at risk of losing tenancies

Provide wrap around support on budgeting, education, training and employment whilst continuing to support their engagement in structured services

About you

A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role, which involves regular community and home visits, as well as co-location within local authorities across West Kent.

An understanding and knowledge of the harmful effects associated with drug and Alcohol use in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employment and personal relationships

Minimum of 12 months experience facilitating successful tenancy sustainment and working to achieve positive community connections

Knowledge of benefits and applying for benefits in a supportive role

The experience of engaging with a wide variety of individuals with a variety of backgrounds and needs

The ability to work with and manage challenging behaviour

Knowledge of local services and relevant interventions to support and sustain recovery especially related to training and education

Knowledge of local registered social landlords and tenancy issues that affect our service user group

What we will give to you

25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally, you'll receive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us
