Anyware Robotics deploys multi-purpose mobile robots, equipped with physical AI, to safely and autonomously handle strenuous and repetitive operational tasks. Pixmo, the company's robot, is designed to autonomously handle boxes for trailer unloading, palletizing, case picking, and trailer loading. Pixmo is powered by AnywareOS, a physical AI software that enables advanced perception and object handling in dynamic, unstructured environments. Pixmo's combination of intelligent software and flexible hardware helps distribution centers and 3PLs reduce labor costs, enhance worker safety, and maintain productivity during labor shortages to deliver a clear return on investment (ROI). We're a small team with big goals, building robots that make work safer and smarter. If you like solving real problems, deploying robots into production, and seeing your ideas come to life, you'll fit right in.

Description
We are seeking a Senior Perception Engineer to develop advanced perception algorithms and systems for next-generation warehouse automation robots. The role focuses on enabling robust 3D perception from cameras and LiDAR data for object understanding, scene reconstruction, and manipulation in unstructured environments. You will work across the perception stack-from sensor calibration and data processing to algorithm design and real-time deployment.
Responsibilities
Develop algorithms for 3D perception tasks such as object detection, pose estimation, and scene reconstruction using multiple RGB-D and LiDAR data.
Build and maintain perception pipelines that combine geometric methods with data-driven approaches.
Ensure reliable and efficient real-time performance on embedded or GPU platforms.
Contribute to processes for data collection, labeling, evaluation, and model training with consistent turnaround times.
Collaborate with motion planning, manipulation, and system software teams for seamless integration into autonomous workflows. Qualifications
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Vision, or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in 3D perception for robotics or autonomous systems.
Proficiency in point cloud processing and geometry-based vision (e.g., PCL, Open3D, ROS perception stack).
Strong software development skills in C++ and Python.
Demonstrated experience deploying perception systems in real robotic environments.
Startup mindset: hands-on, proactive, and ownership-driven. Preferred Experience
Familiarity with AI-based perception or deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience with multi-sensor fusion, calibration, and synchronization.
Knowledge of GPU optimization and real-time inference (TensorRT, ONNX Runtime).
Experience with different simulation environments (Isaac Sim, Gazebo).
Background in warehouse or industrial robotics. Impact
This role is essential to advancing the perception capabilities of our autonomous systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the accuracy, robustness, and efficiency of our robots operating in real-world warehouse environments. Benefits & Perks
