Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for the correct and timely processing of payroll activities for globally mobile Employees, including administering shadow payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations, laws and standards as well as customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs key activities necessary in processing monthly payroll and handles post payroll activities for Assignees and Commuters in the HQ location
Reviews prior to processing global mobility and shadow payroll data as supplied by the external tax vendor, ensuring that all requirements are met
Audits payroll output within specific time frame for resolution of outstanding items in alignment with external tax vendor
Prepares special reports for management upon request
Monitors and responds to HR Services and Employee inquiries as second level of support on an as needed basis
Oversees ongoing internal and external payroll audits as well as the corresponding communication to tax and social security authorities
Supports implementation of HR Services Strategy for Global Mobility regarding tools, programs and processes on a European and partially on a Global level

Proven understanding of shadow-payroll processing
In depth knowledge of German wage and salary laws, taxes and social security
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and electronically with various levels of in- and external partners
Prior experience working in a shared service environment preferred
Requisite Education and Qualifications:
Commercial education or university degree in Business Management or related subject
Minimum 5 years of overall work experience within a Payroll Services or Finance department, incl.
3 + years of international payroll processing experience ideally with SAP
Excellent command of English and German
Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
