iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med Surg / TelemetryDiscipline: RNStart Date: 12/01/2025Duration: 16 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: Travel Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele LocationColumbus, OH Schedule / Job TypeFull-time, 12-hour day and night rotating shifts Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with solid tumor cancers, including chemotherapy administration and post-treatment supportMonitor patients using telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring to ensure patient safetyCollaborate with the healthcare team to focus on infection prevention and fall prevention protocolsEnter and maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record systems, including EPIC and other computerized charting toolsAdapt to staffing needs with flexible shift assignments, including days, nights, or a combination, based on department prioritiesParticipate in self-scheduling and orientation processes to ensure smooth integration into the team Required QualificationsValid nursing license and current BLS certificationMinimum of 2 years of medical-surgical or oncology nursing experienceProven competency in telemetry interpretation and monitoringAbility to work independently within a fast-paced oncology environment Preferred Experience / SkillsOncology certification, such as ONS Chemo certification, is highly preferredPrevious travel nursing experience is a plusExperience with EPIC electronic health records and other computerized charting systems.

Schedule / Job TypeFull-time, 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, with variable weekends based on unit needs.

$2200 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
