This Ohio nursing job offers the perfect blend of professional growth and work-life balance in a welcoming community near Columbus.\n\n\nER RN Travel Nursing Job Details\n\n Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nurse\n Location: Pickerington, Ohio (43147) – Greater Columbus Area\n Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract\n Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n Start Date: November 17, 2025\n End Date: February 16, 2026\n Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend and holiday\n Hours per Week: 36\n Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800\n Patient Ratios: 4:1\n Unit: Emergency Department (ED)\n Facility Highlights: Modern 96-bed hospital with advanced operating rooms, special care nursery, and interdisciplinary support teams (IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy)\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Ohio or compact state\n Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience\n Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; TNCC strongly preferred\n Proficient in telemetry interpretation\n Prior travel nursing experience required\n Experience with Epic charting system preferred\n Previous charge nurse experience preferred\n Experience in Trauma Level I or II centers preferred\n Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from central Columbus, OH\n\n\nER Nurse Responsibilities\n\n Provide emergency nursing care to neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients\n Perform triage, assessment, and rapid interventions for acute and critical conditions\n Administer emergency medications, blood products, and manage central lines, chest tubes, and ventilators\n Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias\n Respond to trauma, STEMI, stroke, and psychiatric emergencies\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, and pharmacy\n Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records\n Float to other hospital units as needed\n Complete orientation and required modules prior to start date\n\n\n \n Discover the benefits of travel nursing in Pickerington, Ohio—a vibrant community with small-town charm and easy access to Columbus healthcare jobs.
