The Impact You'll Make

Join the Production Support & Quality team at Danfoss Drives’ Gråsten factory — a leading electronics manufacturing site producing thousands of frequency converters daily. As a Student Worker in Production Support you will work with a team of technicians and engineers to keep robots, AGVs, automated screwdrivers and assembly systems running smoothly and to improve how we assemble products on the shop floor.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design assembly cell layouts and propose improvements to flow and ergonomics.

• Balance assembly cells to optimise takt time and capacity.

• Produce CAD drawings and documentation for assembly fixtures and work instructions.

• Support ad hoc manufacturing tasks and small pilot projects on the factory floor.

• Collaborate with production engineers and operators to test and implement changes.

What We're Looking For

• Current student (minimum 2nd semester Bachelor) — preferably in Innovation Business, Engineering, Mechanical or similar.

• Curious and hands on — you enjoy seeing your work used and making measurable impact.

• Basic CAD skills or willingness to learn quickly.

• Comfortable on the shop floor, able to work with cross functional teams and follow safety procedures.

• Flexible availability, able to average >8 hours per week and adjust around projects and exams.

• Committed to an engineering career and eager to gain relevant work experience
