GPS Dozer Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GPS Dozer Operator to join our team for a major roadway expansion project in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating dozers equipped with Trimble GPS systems to perform precise fine grading and earthmoving tasks in a heavy civil construction environment.

Responsibilities

Operate dozers with Trimble GPS systems for precise fine grading.

Perform earthmoving tasks in a heavy civil construction setting.

Maintain equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Collaborate with the team to meet project goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 4 years of experience operating dozers.

Proficiency in GPS and fine grade operations.

At least 3 years of experience in civil construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators.

Strong understanding of construction and earthworks.

Work Environment

Work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm. Projects are located in New Kent, VA, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas. The role requires flexibility in commuting to these locations as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lorton, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
