Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced General Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS (AB) and RVT certifications for a 13-week day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a general ultrasound department performing general, vascular, and OB ultrasound scans

Day shift schedule: 5x8 hour shifts, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Call and holiday coverage is minimal and on a rare PRN basis

May float between main and South campus locations

Performs a variety of general, vascular, and OB ultrasound examinations as needed

Minimal call and holiday coverage, as scheduled

Must be prepared to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment

Requirements

Must have ARDMS (AB) and RVT credentials

Graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound tech program preferred

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Must provide two recent supervisory references from the past three years

License required if applicable

Travel experience highly preferred

Candidates must live more than 110 miles from the facility
