Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist experienced in both pediatrics and adult care, with hospital outpatient and acute care skills required.
Responsibilities
Primary work in a pediatric hospital outpatient setting with some adult inpatient coverage as needed
Day shift position: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
Work with a wide variety of pediatric and adult diagnoses
EPIC EMR experience is preferred
Role may require occasional holiday coverage as needed
Team provides both inpatient and outpatient OT services, focusing mainly on pediatric patients
No local candidates accepted (defined as within 25 miles of facility)
Must not have been a permanent staff member at the facility in the past 9 months
Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted, with no RTO allowed in the first two weeks
All travelers are responsible for arranging their own travel to complete fingerprinting requirements in Minnesota
Requirements
Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of acute care, outpatient clinic, and pediatric experience
Must have primary residence more than 25 miles from the facility
Must be eligible and able to complete in-person fingerprinting in Minnesota prior to start
Proof of required vaccinations or appropriate exemption documentation
