Blow Molding Engineer - Plastics - NY

Lead blow molding process development from concept through production launch.

* Support tooling design, validation, and qualification for blow molded products.

* Collaborate with product development, quality, and operations teams to drive manufacturability and scalability.

* Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to improve cycle times, scrap rates, and overall efficiency.

* Troubleshoot blow molding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives for cost, quality, and throughput.

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant A successful Blow Molding Engineer should have: * Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 3-5+ years of blow molding engineering experience (extrusion blow molding, injection blow molding, or injection stretch blow molding). * Strong knowledge of plastics materials, tooling, and processing parameters.

* Proven ability to optimize production processes and troubleshoot equipment.

* Hands-on technical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.

* Experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.
