What you will be doing

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Planning and Control Planner working within the Assembly & Test Facility in Derby.

The Assembly & Test Facility is the home of Civil Large engines and is a fast-paced environment that has exposure to our customers, stakeholders and wider supply chain

Responsibilities

It is a fantastic opportunity for a Planning and Control Planner to become part of the successful Production Test Facility (PTF) team in Assembly & Test.

Support the 4 weekly planning process. Ensure the actions are raised and followed to deliver the plan and meet the customer demand (SP1) .

Liaise with the Production Controllers to understand short term deviations from the plan and overall plan adherence.

For the Sales & Operations Planning (SORB) process, support the creation of defined Scheduling Scenarios, assess the Load & Capacity Balance as well as the Customer and Inventory impacts (SP7).

Accountable for inventory budget and forecast for the plant and impact of planning / scheduling decisions.

Good IT skills essential – Predominately Excel

Experience of working in an operational manufacturing environment would be beneficial

An understanding of load and capacity planning
