Responsibilities:
Carrier Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing carrier partners.
Identify and establish relationships with new carriers to expand the network.
Collaborate with carriers to understand their needs and address any concerns.
Performance Optimization:
Develop and implement initiatives to optimize carrier performance, efficiency, and overall service quality.
Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve issues related to carrier performance, billing, and service delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting carrier relationships.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
Communication
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment with carrier strategies.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage contracted rates with carriers within your regions.
Monitor fluctuating rates within your region and provide feedback to cross-functional teams.
Requirements:

At least 1-2 years of experience in account management, customer service, or a related role. Experience in the logistics or freight brokerage industry is preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational capabilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with CRM software.
Detail-oriented, proactive, with a problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure, and committed to client satisfaction.
Be open to learning and receptive to new ideas and experiences.
