Experienced Family Law Attorney
A well-established Columbus law firm is seeking an attorney with 3-5+ years of legal experience to join its Family Law Practice Group. The attorney will collaborate with a team of experienced partners, handling a broad range of family law matters.
Responsibilities:
Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
Organizing and responding to discovery
Analyzing financial information and preparing marital balance sheets
Running child support and spousal support calculations
Conducting legal research (e.g., using Lexis)
Representing clients in state courts before judicial officers
Qualifications:
Prior experience in family law
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and technological proficiency
A genuine interest in practicing family law (those who are averse should not apply)
