Post Production Video and Graphics Editor

StarTimes Media Group seeks to appoint a suitably qualified individual to assume the role of Post Production Video and Graphics Editor to join its highly creative and talented content production team.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the full post-production workflow of the TV broadcast content ; digitizing raw footage, organizing media, editing graphics, visual effects, colour-grading, sound mixing etc.

Assemble recorded footage into finished product that meets broadcast standards and aligns with the production team’s vision.

integrate graphics, animations, lower-thirds, titles, visual effects motion graphics and special effects Work with other editors, producers, directors, directors, talent and graphics team to ensure story continuity pacing design consistency and brand integrity.

Ensure final output meets technical specifications for broadcast 9formatting, compression, audio levels, and quality control). Maintain and archive raw ad finished media assets in an organized, retrievable system.

Keep up to date with industry trends, editing/graphics technologies, and apply best practices for efficiency and quality.

Experience in brief development to meet client needs and specifications Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity Qualifications and Skills Must have a strong grasp of video and sound production.

Proven work experience in Film, TV, Media, Broadcasting, Visual or related field Proven Work Experience of 2-5 Years in video editing for broadcast/TV, including experience with graphics/motion design.

Strong proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g.

Adobe Premier Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, Avid Media Composer,) and motion graphics software (e.g.

Adobe After effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop). Creativity in story telling sense, strong eye for visual design, timing, continuity colour and sound.

Ability to work under tight broadcast deadlines, multiple projects and manage priorities effectively Portfolio or show reel demonstrating past editing and graphics/motion work.
