What You’ll Do:

Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and/or lathes (HAAS, Mazak, Okuma, etc.)

Read and interpret aerospace blueprints, GD&T, and inspection reports

Lead a small team of machinists — providing training, guidance, and workflow oversight

Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues

Ensure quality control and first-article inspection compliance (FAI)

Optimize setups and improve cycle times for tight-tolerance aerospace parts

Communicate closely with programmers, engineers, and quality control

Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work environment

What You Bring to the Table:

5+ years of CNC machining experience (aerospace or precision industry preferred)

Proven experience setting up complex parts from start to finish

Strong knowledge of G-code and conversational controls

Ability to lead by example and mentor junior machinists

Understanding of AS9100 and aerospace documentation standards

Familiarity with CMMs, micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools

High attention to detail and commitment to quality
