This is a consultative project sales position offering:
Base salary

Primary Responsibilities
Sell commercial HVAC and plumbing design-build solutions and retrofit projects
Project types include mechanical systems, building automation, service retrofits, and energy-saving initiatives
Collaborate with branch sales representatives who generate qualified project sales leads through service contract sales
Leverage a robust base of recurring maintenance service agreements across industrial, educational, healthcare, and commercial office sectors
Develop additional qualified leads through personal networking and business development efforts
Focus territory includes Central Ohio and Zanesville
Key Duties
Lead sales efforts and deliver innovative mechanical retrofit and design-build solutions
Strengthen relationships with long-term clients to improve building thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency
Serve as the design and engineering resource for the business development and service teams
Coordinate with professional engineers for design, energy audits, and savings calculations
Build partnerships with high-quality subcontractors across trades
Drive innovation in high-performance building retrofit solutions
Personal Sales Role
Act as a rainmaker by qualifying and closing project sales
Achieve annual personal sales goals
Prospect within the existing maintenance base and expand through external networking and referrals
Develop project scope, design, and preliminary engineering; coordinate with engineering partners for mechanical, controls, and energy solutions
Estimate, generate proposals, present solutions, and close contracts at qualified margins
Oversee project design and engineering through consulting firms; prepare HVAC design-build plans, load calculations, system sizing, and specifications
Manage post-sale activities including equipment selection, procurement, final engineering, permit compliance, and project turnover
Ensure successful project completion that meets scope, margin targets, and customer expectations
Secure subcontractor and supplier agreements to mitigate project risk
