Are you passionate about helping young children learn and grow ? Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center (LMACCC) is looking for acaring and dedicated Part-Time Teacher to join our warm and supportive team!
This is a great opportunity for educators who love working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and want a flexible schedule that fits their availability. If you have experience in child care, a love for teaching, and a desire to make a positive impact, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
• Gain hands-on experience floating through infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed!
• Assist the Program Coordinators as needed
• Hours are a minimum from 6:30 am through 10 am (full shift being 6:30-2:30pm or 7-3pm) and at the end of the day minimally from 2:30pm-6pm (full shift being 10-6pm).
• Create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging learning environment
• Foster strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators
What You'll Need:
• EEC certification in Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool (required)
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED ( Bachelor's degree preferred but not required )
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, and actively engage with children while ensuring their safety at all times
