Job Title: Supervised Visitation Program Monitor

Reports To: Court Service Programs Supervisor

Salary: $40,296 annually (paid semi-monthly)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all program policies and procedures.
Accurately and clearly, document visitation and client contact logs following each visit.
Prepare and submit reports promptly and in accordance with program standards.
Set up and clean visitation rooms before and after visits.
Manage and de-escalate inappropriate behaviors; terminate visits when necessary to ensure safety.
Facilitate visits and exchanges in a respectful, neutral, and professional manner.
Maintain regular communication with the supervisor, DHS representatives, clients, the court, and parents involved in visitation.
Complete all required training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in childcare, social services, child psychology, criminal justice, or a related field.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Supervision:
Reports directly to the Court Services Program Supervisor.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Understanding of family dynamics and child development principles.
Familiarity with social service agencies and court systems.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to follow established policies and procedures.
Ability to remain objective, neutral, and professional in interactions with clients.
Capacity to assert authority appropriately when situations require.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of related work experience is required.
Personal Qualities:
Professional communication skills with both peers and clients.
Dependable, composed, and able to handle sensitive situations effectively.
Work Conditions:
Full-time position requiring a 40-hour workweek.
Some evening and weekend hours may be necessary.
No travel required.
Additional Information:
This position is classified as safety sensitive under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (63 O.S. § 427.1 et seq., effective August 29, 2019). Employees in this classification are subject to disciplinary action, including termination, if they test positive for marijuana components or metabolites, even if they hold a medical marijuana license.
