The Office of Motor Vehicles is offering an exciting employment opportunity in the Office of Motor Vehicles! We’re looking for aMotor Vehicle Compliance Analyst 4to take the lead in issuing licenses, registrations, titles, and reinstatements — including administering road tests and handling complex, high-pressure situations.

This role also involves managing daily deposits, ensuring security, and providing expert support in unique compliance cases.

This vacancy is located in theOffice of Motor Vehicles DeRidder Field OfficeinBeauregard Parish.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of experience or training in any field.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

May be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license at the time of appointment.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

Responsible for the compiling of statistics for daily, weekly and monthly reports of productions, inventories, sales of inspection stickers, and Risk Management reports. These reports are submitted to the Motor Vehicle Region Manager/Field. Responsible for the daily deposits of all funds collected, verifying accuracy of supporting reports and the physical bank deposit.

Orders all supplies including, but not limited to, license plates, camera supplies, forms and janitorial supplies. Ascertains the accuracy of plates and completes an affidavit for any missing. Maintains a complete inventory on a daily basis to ensure adequate supplies are on hand to meet the needs of the office.

Responsible for maintaining all office equipment and vehicles owned by the Office of Motor Vehicles. This involves personal contact with the local State Police Troop to have proper maintenance performed on the assigned State vehicle. Also, involves contact with repair services, data processing center and utilities repair services. Incumbent is responsible for Risk Management requirements and compliance within their office or Region. Additionally, this position is required to be in compliance at all times with the guidelines of maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Maintains good public relations with the general public, public officials, lending institutions, auto dealers, notaries, Public Tag Agents, etc., in order to provide efficient and effective service. Incumbent is responsible for promoting a positive image as a representative of the Office of Motor Vehicles/Field.

Position-Specific Details:

This vacancy is a rover position for the Office of Motor Vehicles, Region 3, and is domiciled in DeRidder, LA. Travel to various field offices within the State may be required.

Appointment, Promotional, or Job Appointment.

Career Progression:This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.

Work Schedule:Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday.

Location:This vacancy is located in Beauregard Parish.

Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The bi-weekly rate for this position is as follows:

Motor Vehicle Compliance analyst 4 (AS611) - $1,260.80
