Description
Job Summary:
Supervise staff andprovideCPAP therapy to patients who are diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.
Assureproper billing procedures are followed for all machines and/or supplies. Reviewall billing paperwork andascertaincertificate of medical necessities isdocumentedand signed by physicians before billing summitted.
Knowledgeable of billing system, financial codes, payment types, diagnosis with coding abilities,and update insurance info.
Analyzeandprepare reports for cost versus reimbursements of CPT codes, daily productivity, and month-end reports.
Supervise staff to ensure insurance guidelines for CPAP billing and followthe requirements expected
Patient compliance to therapy andpatient's satisfaction while minimizing unnecessary re-assessments and follow-up visits.
Demonstrateand encourageteam behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.
Qualifications
Education:
Registered or certified in field of respiratory therapy preferred. 1-3 years' experience as a CPAP specialist required. Specialized knowledge of CPAP use, compliance software programs, technical adaptation and billing/collection required. Knowledge of DME billing procedures.
Experience:
Three to five years' experience in sleep disorders services helpful with knowledge and experience in CPAP/Bi-Level/VPAP Adapt therapy. One year experience in supervisory role. Must frequently use judgment in observing patients and communicating with staff members. Analytical skills necessary.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must have valid CRT or RRT Alabama license. CPR Certification.
