Job Summary:
To set-up and operate necessary equipment to produce regrind that will meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Be able to start up all machinery and equipment online and make any adjustments necessary to obtain a high quality Regrind
Responsible for filling out daily shift reports, including logging all necessary production reporting data.
Assume responsibility for safety and housekeeping by following all safety rules, reporting safety hazards, and maintaining a clean work area.
Assume responsibility for quality Regrind, ability to dump Regrind and transfer to proper silos
Assist in the training of new trainees by sharing knowledge and information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience:
Required
Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift
High school diploma or GED required
Able to work while standing for long periods
Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction and communicate the same
Must work well with others
Ability to learn and retain information on products, operating procedures, quality requirements, set-ups, etc.
Ability to work while standing for long periods (2 to 3 hours) and work in areas with temperatures approaching 115 degrees.
Desired
Ability to handle multiple tasks and time sensitive work that can change rapidly
Displays consistent desire to do more than is asked to help coordinate processes to get the job done
