Position Overview
The EHS Manager is responsible for overseeing the environmental, health, and safety programs within the manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and implementing best practices to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of the facility to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead and facilitate training programs on EHS practices and regulations for all employees.
Collaborate with plant management to promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Manage incident investigations, report on findings, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring timely compliance with OSHA and EPA requirements.
Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
4+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
Compensation:
$100,000 - $130,000 + RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IF NEEDED
