Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available

Pay: $18.50–$21/hr based on qualifications

At Home Instead, your job is to ensure a better “What’s Next?” for our clients and their families.

For over 10 years now, Home Instead of the Black Hills has been providing best-in-class home care for the Black Hills region, helping seniors live safely and independently in the place they love most: home.

We are looking for two or three overnight caregivers to grow our team to help support aging adults go through the aging process with dignity, respect, and compassion, all while helping to keep house a home.

Multiple support lines for when work or life gets a little overwhelming

How You Support Seniors:

Ensure a safe living environment for seniors, including light housekeeping

Provide personal hygiene and personal care assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, incontinence care, bathing, dressing and eating

Help with mobility and transfers around the house or outside

Assist in preparing late night snacks or healthy, hearty breakfasts

Remind clients to take prescribed medication

Provide companionship to help maintain emotional well-being and dignity

Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

What it Takes to be Successful:

A caring a patient heart

Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation to take for the purposes of your shifts

Supportive and compassionate attitude

A sense of pride in providing high quality care

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25lbs.
