Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Service & Repair Representative to join our technical services team. The Service & Repair Representative will assist with customer technical support, documentation, and internal process improvement. This role is also responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining Erchonia’s medical laser devices, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is a full-time, on-site position at Erchonia’s corporate office in Fountain Inn, SC.

Key Responsibilities

Device Service & Repair

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Erchonia medical laser devices according to company protocols.

Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and quality assurance testing on devices.

Maintain accurate service records, part replacements, and repair logs.

Customer Support

Provide technical assistance to customers by phone, email, or in person.

Assist clients with troubleshooting device issues and walk them through minor repairs when applicable.

Ensure timely turnaround and excellent service to support customer satisfaction.

Operations & Documentation

Follow company procedures for device intake, repair, and return shipping.

Document all service activity in the internal company databases.

Coordinate with inventory management for spare parts and supplies.

Team & Process Support

Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams on recurring technical issues.

Provide feedback for design or process improvements based on repair findings.

Assist with training materials, service manuals, and internal SOP updates.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or technical degree preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar industry with electronics repair, medical device servicing, or a technical support role.

Skills:

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic components, circuits, and mechanical systems.

Proficiency with basic hand tools, testing equipment, and repair procedures.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to manage multiple repairs and meet deadlines.

Proficiency with computers for data entry
