Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team and support daily operations through troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical equipment.

Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical issues.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders using CMMS systems.

Assist with machine installation, alignment, and commissioning as needed.

Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company maintenance standards.

Qualifications:

3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley experience a plus).

Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic meters, and precision measuring instruments.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions (hot, cold, or noisy environments).

Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Welding and fabrication experience.

Basic PLC programming or troubleshooting knowledge.

Experience with VFDs, conveyors, pumps, and motors.

Familiarity with CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.
