The Mission: Logistics Control and Inventory Accuracy
As the Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you are the critical hub that manages the flow of all incoming and outgoing materials. Your organizational skills directly impact our efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming freight, verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect materials for any damage or discrepancies.
Inventory Control: Accurately log, label, and store all incoming materials in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Assist with cycle counting and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Shipping & Logistics: Prepare all outgoing shipments, which includes picking, packing, and labeling products. Generate necessary documentation (BOLs, shipping orders) and coordinate with freight carriers to schedule timely pickups.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all paperwork and computer records (e.g., in an ERP system) to ensure a clear audit trail.
Warehouse Operations: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to move, load, and unload materials and finished goods. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse area.
