Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Columbus, OH

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Columbus, OH area

Assignment: 13?week contract (possible contract?to?hire)

Shifts Available:

Day shift, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Evening shift, 3:00 PM 11:00 PMPosition Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail?oriented Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians to support our long?term care pharmacy hub in the Columbus, OH region. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering medication orders, resolving order issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth, pliant operations.Core Responsibilities

Enter customer information (names, addresses, billing), product codes, and order specifications into the system

Verify and input physician details and prescription orders (new and refills)

Triage and distribute orders originating from document imaging systems

Handle customer contacts to clarify or resolve order issues

Forward escalated concerns to the Order Entry Supervisor

Review order data for pleteness and correctness, sending inplete orders for further processing

Assist with order preparation and shipping coordination

Evaluate inventory for medication availability

Answer customer calls and provide service support

Perform additional duties as neededQualifications & Preferences

Valid state technician license (Ohio) or certification in good standing

Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written munication skills

Ability to work under deadlines, manage workload, and coordinate across teams

Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required

Experience with Frameworks software is a plus
