About the role As a full-time Project-In-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction painting/waterproofing projects. With a focus on project management, this role is crucial in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing
Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion
Lead project planning and scheduling to optimise workflows and meet deadlines
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and site workers
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and processes What we're looking for
Significant experience (3+ years) as a Project-In-Charge or similar role in the construction industry
With experience in Waterproofing and Painting
Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex construction projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and mitigate risks
Proficient in using project management software and tools
Thorough understanding of construction methods, regulations, and safety protocols
A relevant university degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
