Job Description

Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to transport clients to and from medical facilities, homes, and other destinations.

Areas looking to have drivers, Virginia Beach and Hampton roads areas.

Expertly and compassionately assist clients with mobility limitations, including:

Secure loading, unloading, and positioning of clients in wheelchairs and on stretchers.

Providing physical assistance, using a gait belt when necessary, to help clients in and out of the vehicle and their residences.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Verify client identity and appointment details, ensuring the right client gets to the right place on time.

Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, clients, and healthcare facility staff using our mobile dispatch application.

Complete all required documentation, including trip logs and client care records, accurately and in a timely manner.

Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and DOT requirements.

What You Bring (Qualifications):

A valid driver's license in [State Name] and a clean driving record.

A minimum of [e.g., 1] year of professional driving experience (NEMT, ambulance, paratransit, or similar is a strong plus).

Must be physically able to lift, push, and pull heavy weights (e.g., must be able to lift 50+ lbs) and assist clients of all sizes.

Must possess a reliable smartphone with a data plan to operate our required dispatch and routing apps.

Exceptional patience, empathy, and a customer-service oriented mindset.

Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
