Responsibilities:
Developing, preparing, and finalizing detailed design drawings and construction drawings.
Managing the design schedule and applying knowledge of ISO systems.
Supporting the preparation of tender scopes, associated drawings, presentations, and VECD items for complex projects.
Analyzing existing site conditions and formulating Q&A during the tender phase.
Serving as a key communicator by clearly explaining tender and owner documents to sub-contractors and resolving complex issues to conclude the final tender scope.
Collaborating with other disciplines, responding to design review comments, and reviewing outsourced design drawings.
Preparing documentation for submission, including application drawings, addition/deduction work drawings, and Design Change Instructions (DCI).
Assisting in the review and approval of mechanical shop drawings and material submittals, and supporting product/design inspections at workshops and sites.
Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior design staff.
Ensuring designs comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
10 years of professional experience in Mechanical Design work.
Must possess a Mechanical (2nd Class License).
Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM (Revit), with good knowledge of MS Office.
Good command of English.
