Financial Controller

Position: Financial Controller

Location: Hamilton, ON

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 Yearly

Industry: Production / Automotive / Accounting / Manufacturing

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

Reporting and working directly with the President, the candidates will lead all accounting and financial activities in the company.

Set up finance and accounting systems as required.

Oversee accounting activities, including but not limited to AP, AR, bi-weekly Payroll approval, government remittances, EHT, WSIB, HST and RITC and corporate tax.

Preparation of monthly Financial statements.

Manage, motivate, and mentor team, including daily check-ins, goal setting / performance appraisals as required.

Oversee the recruitment process and ensure proper training and development of the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Post secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership roles.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

CPA designation a definite asset.

Excellent financial analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
