APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Shelby Township, MI looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Associate to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to make sure orders are packed, organized, and shipped out accurately and on time. Keep reading for more details!

What your day will look like:
Stack and organize boxes onto pallets
Wrap and weigh pallets using equipment (forklift, hi-lo, electric pallet jack)
Prepare shipping paperwork, including pallet sheets, tags, and summaries
Enter shipment details into the Warehouse Management System
Create Bills of Lading and coordinate with carriers
Follow standard operating procedures for shipments
Assist with unloading containers and loading trucks
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Support general warehouse tasks as needed
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of Shipping and Receiving experience
Skilled in operating warehouse equipment (forklift, hi-lo, electric pallet jack)
Familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Maps
