As part of the work considered within this framework agreement, TenneT has reported its intention to sign several new projects with Acciona.

After the resignation of the current HSE Manager the incorporation of a new HSE Manager in the team required from November 2025.

The location will be at Acciona NL Headquarters office in Duiven.

Mission:

Coordinate, schedule and implement the projects he/she leads within his/her operating area, based on established standards and procedures, developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client.

This sub-function is responsible for all activities related with the safety and health of the company’s workers. Its duties include: recognition and assessment of risks of occupational accidents and illnesses, control of risks at the workplace or working facilities, training on risk prevention and dissemination of the importance of this prevention, recording of information and analysis of information, advising and technical support to the company’s employees.

Functions:

• Responsible in ensuring that operations are carried out safely and with consideration of environmental protection. Expected to promote a positive culture of safety and environmental awareness to all site supervision and workers.

• Ensuring that the project is aware of and complies with all legislation in relation to the use of its plant and equipment as well as workplace activities and that the project meets its statutory and industry obligations in respect to industrial and safety matters at all times.

• Ensure company adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

• Advise Project Director of all incidents reportable under the companies recordable incident guidelines and R.I.D.D.O.R. in a timely manner

• Liaise with site Facilities Manager to ensure all health and safety related equipment, for example fire safety equipment, PPE, first aid supplies are available onsite and maintained as required

• Ensure company adherence to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

• Ensure compliance and expert understanding of CDM regulations.

• Design and deliver health & safety training at both ACCIONA and site level to manage, monitor improve health & safety standards

• Actively seek to achieve zero incidents, but where required, lead accident and near miss investigations recording the findings.

• Keep up to date with changes in current legislation and implement changes where relevant

• Conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and health hazards are prevented, eliminated or corrected as required.

Requisitos del candidato

Academic Background

Degrees: University Degree in Engineering.

Further Training: Additional training in Transmission & Distribution construction projects.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required

Profile

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in similar positions.

Languages

High level of English

Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be an asset.

Additional Knowledge

Experience with High Voltage Electrical Substation projects in the Netherlands is a plus, but not mandatory.
