The Hong Kong Support Center (HKSC) is the regional corporate hub for the 15 markets in the Asia Pacific region - Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong/Macau, India, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. With over 5,700 stores, the region is a key growth driver for the organization.

Job Summary and Mission

As part of the store development team, the senior manager contributes to Starbucks success by supporting store development goals focused on driving regional growth by

• Driving strategic partnerships with Licensees and Cross-Functional teams to deliver profitable and sustainable store portfolio across assigned markets.

• Leading store expansion initiatives and supporting rollout of new store formats across assigned markets.

• Facilitating strategic portfolio reviews to optimize store performance.

• Enhancing development processes and systems for greater efficiency.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Influence and support licensees in developing a robust real estate strategy, including long-term renovation plan, across assigned markets.

• Review & approve all store proposals for assigned markets.

• Monitor monthly licensee pipeline updates, track key stores, and share relevant business insights with cross-functional teams to support planning and decision-making.

• Support Market Planning team in training new market partners and enhancing system usage and governance.

• Facilitate strategic portfolio reviews and collaborate with licensees to develop action plans for new and existing stores.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a profitable and sustainable store portfolio across assigned markets.

• Assist Store Development Director in driving key initiatives and process improvement projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of experience in real estate industry, real estate consulting, and/or F&B/premium retail.

• Builds trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging high emotional intelligence to influence and align.

• Strategic thinker with a clear view of the big picture.

• Collaborative team player, able to work independently and with peers.

• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills

• Asia Pacific real estate knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
