Responsibilities:
Create and send invoices and statements; track payments and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Validate, enter, and process vendor invoices; prepare vendor payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and vendor records in the ERP system.
Reconcile bank statements and assist with general bookkeeping duties.
Prepare reports, including expense reports and basic financial summaries.
Support payroll processing and government tax payments.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial preparations.
Respond to client and vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
Provide backup support for other accounting team members.
Perform general office administration, filing, and reception coverage as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Accounting preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical, administrative, or accounting-related roles.
Previous experience in general accounting, invoicing, or payroll is an asset.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with QuickBooks and 4Castplus is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
