Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Council Grove, KS is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position covering the remainder of the school year. Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
Provide counseling and crisis intervention when needed
Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams
Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state of Kansas
Experience providing psychological services in school settings
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
Excellent munication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week
Onsite work in Council Grove, KS
Contract runs through the remainder of the school year
Initial interview conducted via Zoom with the school director to discuss caseload and expectations
