Position Summary:

Coordinates, implements, and supervises a comprehensive Early Head Start program in compliance with both Federal and State regulations under the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Provides high quality early education, child development services, and family support that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Visits families in the home to promote secure parent/child relationships and helps parents provide high quality early learning experiences. Collaborates with the Early Childhood Manager and Early Intervention Manager. Selects, manages, supervises, monitors, and evaluates staff.

Pay Grade: 111

Qualifications

Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in education • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities

Special Requirements

Required Licenses or Certifications: • Class C driver's license • CPR/First Aid and pass a background check
