At The Santa Barbara Smokehouse we take pride in producing premium smoked salmon products with a commitment to quality, freshness, and craftsmanship. We’re a growing food processing facility where teamwork, safety, and consistency are key to our success.
We’re looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Production Team. This is a general interest position, and applicants may be assigned to a variety of roles throughout the plant based on production needs, skills, and experience.
Duties range from working on the production line to packaging and labeling finished products, and may include warehouse support such as assembling boxes, verifying orders, and tracking inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate or assist on the production line for smoked salmon processing.
Weigh, portion, and package finished products according to specifications.
Label products accurately for traceability and compliance.
Assemble shipping boxes and prepare orders for delivery.
Verify product counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Requirements:
No prior experience required—training provided!
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to [e.g., 40 lbs].
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time positions available
Shifts: Multiple shifts; Day/Night. Varies from 6am-2:30pm/5:00pm-1:30am
