Job Title: Senior Engineer - Training Delivery

What you’ll be doing:

Delivery of Defence training at the Broad Oak site to RN personnel for the Submarine Common Combat System (CCS), specifically focusing on the delivery of Maintainer and Ships Security Officer (SSO) Training

Responsible for all elements of course administration including trainee assessments, report writing and internal validation reports

Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and support of all current CCS CI Maintainer and SSO training materials to ensure alignment maintained with Platform changes. Documentation will align to the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)

Provide project support to internal and external Training Stakeholder meetings as directed by the CCS CI Training Engineering Manager

Provide support to future training requirements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

Proven track record of one year or more conducting training delivery as an Instructor to MOD Personnel, or Qualified in accordance with JSP 822 (or equivalent)

Practitioner in course design and maintenance

Good relationship engagement with peers and customers.

Solid Information Technology Skills

Desirable:

Knowledge of e-learning authoring tools

Knowledge of Royal Navy organisation / MoD operations

Knowledge/experience of Submarine Combat System Design

The Training Delivery Team:

As a Senior Engineer (Training Delivery) within the In-Service and Support Team you will be part of the team responsible for the delivery of Defence training to RN personnel for the Common Combat System (CCS) fitted to UK Submarines.

This role will also provide you with the unique opportunity to influence the development and growth of a new area of the business, leading to exciting progression opportunities as the team expands.
