Description

Rivier University, an NCAA Division III institution located in Nashua, New Hampshire, is seeking a hard-working, motivated, and driven individual for its part-time assistant men's ice hockey coach position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coaching responsibilities will be assigned by the head coach and will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with essential daily tasks that are key to running a successful NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey program.

Assist with practice planning and implementation.

Game day responsibilities.

Administrative responsibilities related to scheduling, organizing, and general office work.

On and off-campus recruiting prospective student-athletes.

Marketing, film exchange, and academic monitoring.

Community involvement and fundraising activities.

Adhere to NCAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree is required.

Collegiate playing/coaching experience preferred.

Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and must be able to successfully complete a background check.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Supervisory and management skills

The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.

High energy, motivation, and creativity
