Your responsibilities will include:

We are seeking an enthusiastic 3rd or 4th year mechanical engineering student to intern as an Engineering Designer to support the rollout of new 3-D CAD model processes across our engineering function. This is a hands-on role where you will apply your technical knowledge and creativity to develop a suite of CAD model examples and templates that will become the foundation of our design standards and best practices.

About you:

To be successful you will currently be studying in your 3rd or 4th year of a Mechanical Engineering degree

or have completed a Certificate IV in Engineering (with CAD/drafting focus). You will have a solid understanding of 3D CAD principles (e.g. Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar). Ideally you will have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, with a strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and quality in design outputs.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
