Location: Initial On-Site (Near Frankfurt) Remote after 1–3 months

Project Overview

Join a transformative engineering project focused on a major system changeover. We’re seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (Konstrukteur) to support the migration of mechanical drawings from Hand Drawn and AutoCAD 2D to Creo 11.0, and assist in transitioning materials away from lead-based components.

Key Responsibilities

Convert and optimize mechanical drawings from AutoCAD 2D to Creo 11.0

Collaborate with engineering teams to redesign components using alternative materials.

Drawings must be done in accordance with current standards and in conjunction with existing work instructions.

At the start of the project, data will be stored in the Agile 6.21 document management system, but this is to be changed to Windchill during the course of the project.

Contribute to design reviews and provide technical input on feasibility and improvements

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D and Creo (preferably version 11.0)

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles

Experience in system migration projects or component redesign

Fluent in German and/or English

Able to work on-site for the first phase, then transition to remote work
